Inbox Atlas connects to Gmail or Outlook and shows everyone who has emailed you, grouped by the part of your life they belong to: people, money, work, shopping, newsletters. It reads the sender, date, subject and short preview of each message, never the full message or its attachments. Seeing it is free. When you want the clutter gone, it backs up first and changes nothing until you approve.

Connect your mailbox and the Map fills in as Inbox Atlas reads it: a block for each part of your life, sized by how much mail it sends you, with unread and recent mail marked. The List has the exact counts, down to each address. Reading changes nothing in your mailbox.
The cleanup: backup first, and you approve
Every message gets a label for its part of life, old unopened mass mail leaves your Inbox, and Inbox Atlas proposes which senders' mail can go to Trash. First it copies those messages to your own Google Drive or OneDrive and checks the copy. Then you untick anything you want to keep, and approve. Delete always means Trash, and you can undo it all for 30 days.
Upkeep: it stays sorted, and silence deletes nothing
Upkeep includes the cleanup and keeps your mailbox that way: new mail is labelled and sorted without you doing anything, and once a week it proposes what could go to Trash, with the same backup first and your approval. If you do nothing, nothing is deleted. Cancel any time.

What it never does
- Never deletes anything permanently. Delete always means Trash.
- Never moves anything to Trash without a verified backup in your own Drive or OneDrive and your approval of that run.
- Never reads the body of a message or its attachments.
- Never keeps message bodies or attachments on its servers.
- Never sends, replies, forwards or unsubscribes as you.
- Never proposes deleting mail from people, anything you opened or replied to, or anything under 30 days old.
